The Department of Theology and Philosophy of Barry University which is run by the Dominican Sisters of Adrian, Michigan, will give an Award for Theological Excellence in January to radical feminist theologian Sister Elizabeth A. Johnson, a professor at Jesuit run Fordham University.

Sister Elizabeth, who advocates goddess worship, actively dissents from the Church's infallible teaching on the invalidity of women's ordinations and promotes the cause of world government and a one-world religion.

In her book She Who Is (Crossroad, 1993) Sister Elizabeth announced "that the time has come to stop addressing God as Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and to begin addressing Him as 'She Who Is.'" For this she won awards and a promotion to "Distinguished" Professor of Theology at Catholic Fordham University.

She's one of those liberal Catholics and so is this Barry School. It is a shame I found another article where she is calling Mary Truly our Sister. This is so not Catholic Teaching. The school is giving her an award not the Vatican. It is still very wrong.

How ridiculous! I also don't see how they could possibly call this woman a "great theologian".

What goddess does this woman worship? Seems to be missing in the link.

Basically, the divine feminine.

From the article:

In her book She Who Is (Crossroad, 1993) Sister Elizabeth announced "that the time has come to stop addressing God as Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and to begin addressing Him as 'She Who Is.'"

This is pretty much the same thing that the leadership of the
Episcopal Church USA is trying to sneak in through the back door:

I think Goddess worship is inaccurate. Liberalism, feminism or even heresy might be better words to describe it.
