Hi Everyone!

Just wanted to let you know things are going great with the Homeschooling debate between Fiance and I ! He is really starting to see how the kids are responding to what we teach them.:yeah

The other night we watched Pearl Harbor, and did a study on World War II !
It was great, we discussed the events after the movie, and also had a huge WW2 book showing the events leading up to the war!

My fiance loves History, and is showing such an interest in teaching them this particular subject! We started have Bible Study on Wednesday nights, and went to a bookstore trying to find a book that we can use daily!

Really happy for you, happy you had a good start. My dh is a big history buff too. Isn't fun how you can use the tv shows on the channels and incorporate them into your classes? I believe that helps cause you see what your reading about and it can help you understand it better. Really wonderful to hear how things are going.

Yes Nannette...gosh their are so many topics to choose from, and so many things to teach just from watching the Discovery Channel ! The beauty of homeschooling is the bond I share with them as I see the lightbulbs going off and they really grasp what you are teaching them.

I am very happy things are going well...... Just have to keep plugging away.
