Society forum

I have had several posts lately that just did not seem to fit well into any category except maybe Anything Goes. A lot of them are stories about people and society in general, so I thought maybe we could have a forum for the influence of society in our lives. Stories like marriage, divorce, crime, education, stress, life in general, race, religion...and how all that and society mix to affect our lives. Just a thought.

Yes but it's all good. I admit I am and can be. (I'm the one way who plays *gulp* devil's advocate in discussions about timing of end-time events).

Our forums are geared towards current events that are obviously last days news in light of Biblical prophesy.

I guess what I'm thinking of is we used to put this kind of stuff in Birth Pangs, which is now Last Days, and the description is:

The influence of modern science, technology, and natural disasters revealing end times events. Matthew 24; Romans 8:22

Some of the articles there are more "how society influences last days events" and in my "HOLIDAY BLUES: PC Christmas: 'Ho, ho, ho' becomes 'ha, ha, ha'" thread people were asking why it was there? I put it there because to me it's just another subtle attack on Christmas.

Nobody asked why the "Red, green lights to be banned?" or my thread "HOLIDAY BLUES--Feds ban grandma's angel ornament on Christmas tree" were put in Prophecy? I put mine there because the red/green light one was already there, so I figured why not? They fit in a way because they were attacks on Christmas, and persecution of Christians is prophetic.

The first is mine in Last Days, the 2nd is someone's in Breaking News. I didn't think of putting it there because it was more "societal" news.

I'm not sure exactly what you were suggesting but it seems like it could be stories about celebrities, stars, actors and spoiled atheletes and how society is affected by their lives and the way they are adulated.
