Sometimes I find myself getting so frustrated with what is out in the world...it seems like any movie you go to some woman is taking her clothes off. It just frustrates me....I wish somehow, someway we could make it all go away. Why these woman choose to degrade themselves this way ... I dont know. And why men cant keep the temptation away from looking....Ugh, I have just had it with this filthy sick world.

Your topic is misleading sort of. I thought you were talking about pornographic movies but you are talking about Hollywood produced movies right?
I think that in the 80's and 90's a lot of movies that came out had the obligatory sex scene in which women got nude. However, fast forward to today and I don't see it as much. I think the focus in hollywood has switched to more "Theme' based movies and the sex scene for sex scene's sake is not as common.
If done properly, a movie can show a murder, a rape and a steamy love scene without any clothing being removed or blood splattering. It's all in how the director and producer want to do it.
Men will always be tempted to "look", it's wired in their brain chemistry. Do all men take the opportunity to look? No, of course not, but you have to realize that it is a battle that they fight inside their minds.

To be honest, it is all the same to me. Hollywood is right up there in line with pornography. Pornography to me is in essence taking your clothes off for the world to see. It is all filth to me. I am just tired of it...plain and simple.

I'm sick of it, too. It's gross and nasty. Even commercials today are soft porn (as it used to be defined.) You can't even watch the news anymore and I've heard that some cartoons are getting into the nudity/sex market. It is a filthy, sick world out there. Yeah, I don't deal with the various nuances re: the definition of porn. It's all porn to me, too, Kvat.

:hug I hear ya. My husband, bless his heart, he turns away from the TV at anything that seems unpure. It must be so difficult for our men to navigate through this world with all the filth being as visually wired as they are.

:thumb I feel the same! Sin starts in our minds and anything that can lead the mind to think of pornography IS pornography!

"If it's done properly???" I don't think that there is any way to do any of this properly, but that is my opinion. Sex is sex, violence is violence and murder is murder, there is NO good way to direct this. My personal belief.

I know how you feel. And, it's not only in Hollywood, but in books.
People need to realize we women (and girls) are not your 'toys' to play with. We have a MIND, a BODY, and A SPIRIT, and we are not dumb and stupid and lower than men. Even God acknowledges women's existence, even though we are used to hearing "man" in a lot of thing.
And that is the one thing that keeps me going. Don't let those evil ways of using women as toys and seperating them and calling men better and women lower. We can do a lot of things men can't do, and God uses women as his servants and not just men. :)
