SBC President Not Interested In the Victims of Purpose Driven
Published November 19th, 2007

James Sundquist, author of Who’s Driven The Purpose Driven Church and Rick Warren’s Global Peace Plan has been sounding the alarm regarding the false teachings of Rick Warren and the victims of division The Purpose Driven Church program creates. Sundquist sent an open letter to Dr. Frank Page of the President of the SBC regarding these concerns. (CRN contributor Dwayna Litz of Lighting The Way Worldwide posted Sundquist’s letter here.--> http://lightingtheway.blogspot.com/2007/10/baptists-going-purpose-driven-letter-to.html) Just one excerpt of the letter included:

Your own church conducts Rick Warren’s teachings and programs. So you should already know that Rick Warren has trained 400,000 pastors worldwide how to get rid of what he calls "resisters", which I have documented below and in both of my books on Rick Warren and is well known, thanks to several other books and discernment ministries around the world who have exposed him. Even some secular media such as the Wall Street Journal has rightfully sounded the alarm about Rick Warren. And it is the Southern Baptist Convention that is leading the pack in dismembering churches and destroying the brethren, thanks to Rick Warren. So your call for unity is the height of contradiction. If you are really interested in transmitting any credibility to your statements, you could begin by marking Rick Warren as a false teacher, renouncing the Personality Temperament Profiling divination you have promoted, reach out to all of the SBC members throughout the U.S, ask for their forgiveness for those who have been purpose-driven from their churches, offer restitution for their losses.

A follow up email exchange between Sundquist and Dr.Frank Page resulted in Dr. Page’s request: "Please do not send any more of your material to my staff or to me." Sundquist’s response is detailed at the Jesus Christology website ---> http://healtheland.wordpress.com/2007/11/19/abrahamic-faith-continues-the-battle-against-rick-warren-purpose-driven-apostasy-in-southern-baptist-convention/ with this introductory explanation by Sundquist:

"I sent the following response to SBC President Frank Page’s retaliation against me and my original appeal to him to several hundred Southern Baptist Pastor and leaders in the U.S. Not one single pastor responded with even an iota of concern for the SOS calls and emails I received from all over the world from Purpose Driven victims. Not one single SBC pastor responded with any concerns about Rick Warren’s false teachings. However, a host of them asked to be removed from my mailing list and a few dozen actually retaliated too, but NONE could refute my facts, and only one tried to reason from Scripture by saying that I was sowing discord among the brethren which the Lord hates. But I am just the messenger. It is Rick Warren who has sown discord among the brethren by attacking them as resisters and removing them from church after church through his training…a true devourer of the Lord’s sheep! And of course, NONE of them repented!"

When he was elected to be the president of the SBC I couldn't believe it! I remember our preacher talking about what a great leader he would be and after church me questioning him about Page's beliefs. The one thing that I just couldn't get over was when he said he was not mad about Christ. It just sat funny with me and even though my pastor tried to explain it to me, I never liked what he said. That pastor is now gone from our church.

I am blessed to be in a small community church, my husbands Uncle is the pastor, and we are Baptist and we do not go along with this Rick Warren stuff at all. If there was someone who needed help, we would do our best to help them.

In a way this all reminds me of how history showed the world's reaction to Hitler's aggression- no one could be bothered until it happened to them. Maybe the "victims" of Warren's efforts to get them out of these "churches", are actually the VICTORS, because they are not sitting under deceit in the pulpit any longer:thumb! To me, you are the blessed of God, because He got you out of harm's way, and is now using you to show others the truth about this evil PDL and Emergent junk.

It is a form of persecution, and you are blessed of God for righteousness' sake when you are kicked out of these vile "churches". It would tell me that I am doing something RIGHT in God's eyes:lol2!! It is going to get worse, because these vile, evil leaders will wax braver and more emboldened. Thank God He got you all out when He did. Bless you all for the discernment and courage you showed in speaking up!! I thank my Lord for each and every one of you :hug!!!

That's exactly what it is! You know that at least some of the Germans under Hitlers regime HAD to know in their hearts that what he was doing was wrong. They had to! Yet, they went along with it.
Same thing goes here. This guy sent out many letters to SB leaders with no response. I find it hard to believe that all of them are clueless about with RW is doing. :ohno

You know we use Life Way in our church and have used it all my life. In the last few years I have noticed major changes in them and now I really don't care for it. It is sad because I never really bought anything to read unless it was approved by life way and now I can't even check there.
