We are leaving the next day to visit family out of state so we don't want leftovers. So I am going to cook cornish hens, cornbread dressing, and greenbeans. We always have a birthday cake for Jesus. So we will have that for dessert

Me too! Wow...I was just going to have some finger foods out on the table for people to pick at, but I'd rather go to Nannette's house. :heythere:bouncie

I'm not sure what we're doing, yet. I believe we will be having Christmas dinner at my FIL's. Perhaps even at FIL's mother's house. Don't know, yet.

It's easy ok first fry up your ground sausage any variety you like. Place sausage in casserole dish. Next scramble your eggs and then mix them in with sausage. Then fry your hashbrowns to where you like them and mix that in with the eggs and sausage, add your gravy after you make it too (I don't use store bought or nothing, I usally got several things cooking at the same time on the stove, but you can prepare them anyway you wish). So you mix the eggs, sausage hasbrowns and gravy all together in casserole dish and you can even top it with shredded cheese if you like and bake at 350 for about 20-30 minutes.

Best served hot, and you can also add onions, or peppers too.

Really good.

Love you sister in Christ,
Nannette (a.k.a. LupusMommyto5)

I haven't made a menu yet. My MIL lives with us and has always headed up the holiday cooking. Out of respect and the fact she enjoys it soo much, I'm in the background. Think of Maria of Everybody loves Raymond, you have my mother-in-law. She has become easier in her later years. I love her because she at times cracks me up.

This Thanksgiving, she became overly tired by noon and went to lay down. She wants to but can't anymore, I was wondering when to step in because she can be stubborn. The kids and I took over and finished.

I offered earlier to do Christmas and she agreed. :faint

So I'm really excited. I will include her help too.

I'll get back on the menu.
