Based on Dr. Robert Klenck's observations stated in his presentation from the thread "WARNING! The Purpose Driven Church Heresy! Rick Warren" http://www.rr-bb.com/showthread.php?t=23285 in which he indicates that the church is being redefined as a corporation by the Purpose Driven movement, a disturbing "phrase" found in Radio Bible Class material is exhibited below in the pdf pamphlet of The Heart of Effective Ministry pamphlet in which a pastor's many duties are described.

I have never heard a pastor described as the CEO of his church until the Purpose Driven movement.

In many congregations today, a pastor:
. needs to be an expert couselor, fundraiser, visionary, speaker, leader, caregiver, servant and CEO.

RBC Ministries if that is what you are referring too has also referenced new agers in their devotional "Our Daily Bread".

If this is not the entity of which you speak, please forgive me, but for those who didnt know, well.... now you do. :doh

Yes sadly, that is my point. I've been reading Our Daily Bread for 30 years and have noticed vague references to "new" teaching lately.

The Radio Bible Class has also been toning down premillennialism and pre-trib for a long time. And on Bible prophecies it actually believes Palestianians are not Arabs, but rather some descendants of ancient Caananites, Jews, and other Gentiles, and also it doesn't believe modern Jews are descendants of biblical-era Israelites.

It has definitely been drifting to the Emerging church movement for quite some time.

Is it possible that you could provide proof where RBC has been toning down their prophetic views? Who was the person(s) who was spouting these views? Did they back up their beliefs with the Scripture?

I am still in shock. I would never have thought that this fine Christian organization would ever change their view unless they felt they had been lead by the Holy Spirit.

I have been reading from none other than Marc De Haan's Been Thinking About for quite some time. In 2001 he wrote that "we should don't really categorize those who don't believe in a literal millennial kingdom as apostate".

Last year, they put in Answers to Tough Questions, which suggests that the Palestinians are not Arabs in ethnic ancestry and they are as entitled to the land of Israel as Jews.

Forwarded to Arnold Fruchtenbaum for his comments and his response is that the RBC is not true on this area.

It is still pre-trib and premillennial offiically speaking, but I'm equally in shock when they say that they believe the Arabs should have at least half of Israel.
