Dear all,

I felt sad after visiting a SDA church the past Saturday
B/C that pastor said ,
1.church teaching Sunday worship are all daughter of BABYLON
2.church teaching Heaven and Hell are all daughter of BABYLON

And according to the following verse he quote , daughter of MYSTERY
BABYLON THE GREAT is PROSTITUTE

Revelation 17
5This title was written on her forehead:
MYSTERY
BABYLON THE GREAT
THE MOTHER OF PROSTITUTES
AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

My question is " is SDA a cult in your opinion? "
I am just wondering if i should still keep going there
Why church slaughter church like this ?
Is this one of endtime signs ?
I just want to keep Sabbath and find a Sabbath-keeping church
Is there any other church i can attend ?
Should i leave this church just b/c i was offended by this 1 sermon ?

Also, THE Church, aka The Bride of Christ, aka born again Christians, are in no way "children" of Babylon. We are of Jesus Christ, and no other. If your pastor is teaching that believers are "children" of Babylon, then you should leave. Immediately. And warn as many as you can about his preaching of false doctrine.

they will confuse you and twist GODS WORD untill they make you a apostate like them.
they pride themselfs in the law and the sabbath,they put themselfs back under the law and by doing this they are under GODS curse....

if you are a young child in the faith the best thing you can do is be in the WORD and know that satan is out to decive you with false doctrine ..beware he is like a lion...

I am not sure if they are a cult,but in my observation of my SDA cousins,they prefer the teaching of Ellen G.White as if it is the bible.If ever they will be quoting a belief,they will tell it is ellen G whites's before it the Lord's word.I was turned off to listen to them,though they were the ones who introduce me to the bible in my younger years,thus i was made aware of the bible.i appreciate ellen G whites books i read some of them in the past,but must be very careful about strict observance of the sabbath.For me they are more on observing the worship day on sabbath and not sunday.But the real essence of us spreading the good news is not the sabbath,but the good news of our forgiveness through the death of Jesus.And the good news to them is not the gospel,but "The Kingdom of God is at hand"(The second coming).So far that is my observation,which are not sound for me biblically.:)About mystery Babylon,what i have read about is,it is a country that embodies,the most evil practices and observation that exalts self more than God,that will eventually be judged by God severely,Because it causes all other nations to sin againts God,and have killed most of God's saints.To the SDA's that country refers to Rome.I am not sure about it.But as soon as i was able to get my materials i will share the facts to you.
For the meantime,do be open to other teachers and pastors teachings,to open wide your horizon.I been to a lot of religious group,i studied the bible at the same time,until i found the Lord,and made me understand the truth,the way and the life.He will guide you and lead you too into knowing Him and understanding Him.
