Here's how the game works:
I need at least 5 participants.(more is welcomed) I will ask 10 biblical questions. I'll start by asking a simple bible based question. The questions will become more difficult as the game progresses. The person with the most correct answers gets to "boast in the Lord" for a day.(moderators permitting)
Beware though: there are 2 trick questions. And if all participants gets any of the answers wrong, and I answer correctly, I myself will "boast in the Lord" :nod
Who will determine which answers are correct?
Majority rules.
When will the answers be posted to each question?
As soon as I get at least 5 responses (more welcomed)
Ok, lets get started:
The first question (the easiest by far)
1. Who was the first person in the history of mankind to lose their blood into the ground of the earth?

First persons blood was Abel.
The Lord came looking for Abel and asked Cain. Cain asked, "Am I my Brothers keeper?"
The first blood shed was an animal.

Thank you for responding everyone:
Unfortunatley, I have good news and some bad news....
The good news: I win :pound
The bad news: you lose :ohno
I warned everyone that there would be at least 2 trick questions amongst the 10 questions. Being the "stinker" that I am, the first question was one of them. :pound
Boy, I wish more people would've participated, I would've given anything to read the responses by members once they found out that Abel is the wrong answer. Yep, I said it, Abel is the wrong answer.
Don't believe me? Ok, let's dig into our bibles, maybe we can learn a thing or two. But before I reveal the correct answer, I will attempt to offer clues via scripture, and hopefully by revelation, the correct answer will just "light up" in your mind.
Ok, the first clue:
John 19:33-34
33.But when they came to Jesus, and saw that he was dead already, they brake not his legs:
34.But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water.
Second clue:
Ephesians 5:30-32
30.For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
31.For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
32.This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
Third clue:
Hebrews 12:24
And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.
Have you figured it out yet? Has the Holy Spirit revealed the answer?
The fourth and final clue:
Genesis 2:21-24
21And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;
22.And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.
23.And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.
24.Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
Are bells ringing yet? They should be. This final clue should've gotten you over the hump.
Who was the first person, in the history of mankind, who's blood dripped into the heart of the earth? Abel? Nope.
Drum roll please......
Adam :nod
Right now, you are probably saying to yourself.."sheeesh, I think he's right" :doh
Brethren hearken unto me.....
Far be it from God, to allow the blood of Abel(which speaketh vengance) to speak first unto the heavenlys. No, I am rather convinced through the Holy Spirit, that God preached the gospel before hand; that is, in the body of the first Adam; that through this earthly pattern, a more excellent and everlasting covenant would be established. Things which speak better than that of Abel(vengance). For he saith in a certain place: a body thou has prepared me, to do thy will o God. Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.
I feel like preaching again... :yeah
Ok, I gotta calm down, I'm receiving spiritual truths faster than my brain can absorb. Ok, I'm calm...
The sequence of events is nothing short of brilliance:
That God would cause a "deep sleep" (death like?) to fall upon Adam, which in turn permitted him to "pierce" Adam's side, subsequently causing blood and water to run down the body of Adam into the heart of the earth. The end result? The flesh and bone(his rib) which was extracted through "blood and water" produced a Bride, namely Eve. For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. And how much more are we the bride of Christ? That by the blood of Christ, we should be married unto him.
I will be so bold as to say....
I know exactly how long Adam "slept"......
For the bible said:
And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept
Is it not obvious, that Adam "slept" for 3 days and 3 nights? Recovering from his "wounds" which God inflicted by his determinate counsel? For he was wounded for our iniquities.... (Oh my, I feel like preaching..) Is it not far more evident that both Adam and Jesus were "pierced" in the exact same location? For both men were "wounded" by the determinate counsel and forknowledge of God. Both men speaking better things than that of Abel.(out of the mouth of 2 or 3 witnesses, let every word be established) For Abel's blood speaketh vengance, however, Christ's blood speaketh forgiveness, mercy, and grace.
That God would declare the gospel beforehand, even in the first man, Adam is nothing short of Brilliance. But then again, that's how God "operates". (get it? "operates" :lol2 )
Brethren, this one thing I want you to know:
If God puts you to "sleep", he is able to wake you again :yeah
(almost in tears..Glory to His Name!)

Time to boast in the Lord: :nod
Is it not amazing to think that most people, who have read the bible
automatically assumes that Abel was the first person in the history of mankind who's blood was shed?
The Lord's ways are so marvelous: that, by revelation of the Holy Spirit, he could dispel such erstwhile teachings instantly. And I am thankful, that he expounded my understanding of the gospel of grace by revelation through the body of Adam.
If all of the members of this board would've participated in this game, I wonder how many would've answered correctly? I guess we'll never know the answer to that question now that we know the correct answer. But if I had to guess, I would say...none. That in itself speaks volume. That bible students(pastors, teachers, scholars) would err in such simple things is quite amazing. Especially considering the nature of the question:which involves the gospel of grace.
I bet if someone were to ask Hal Lindsey this same question, his response right now would be "Abel":nod How about Jack Van Impe, Grant Jeffries, Luther, Calvin Jack Haffer, Charles Stanley, Kopeland....etc etc? They all would've responded with the same answer, namely "Abel".
I bet if I were to send a question to the Jack Van Impe show, and ask him this same simple question (assuming he takes my question) there would be no doubt in my mind that he would humbly respond by saying "Abel". :nod
I wonder if Marilyn Hickey would've guessed correctly..she's pretty sharp...hmmm.
I better start sending out e-mails to various T.V. ministries, I'm very curious to know who would answer correctly.
Administrators/Moderators, can you do me a favor? Can you ask Todd Stranberg this same question? Assuming that someone doesn't "tip him off"; I'de be curious to see his response.
Well, the "secret" is out now, after all, this is the internet, and things travel faster than the space shuttle.
And to think that we bible students thought we knew all there was to know about the "Gospel of Grace" and all of it's types and shadows.
Not by man's might, not by man's intellect and wisdom, but by my Spirit saith the Lord.
