Hi all!
I think I was registered on the old board as Saved411...anyway, life went downhill a couple of years ago...we followed "the american dream" and bought a big house, the whole thing. Then the troubles hit, it's a whole other long story, but it rocked my faith to the core. I ended up very angry, how could all this be happening? It isn't a whole lot better, but I'm working on renewing my faith which all but died last spring after what felt like the fatal blows on an already fragile faith.
I still have virtually no prayer life, and just can't seem to make it to church. I feel so alone...
Anyway...I've been reading here and there, and finally decided to say hello.

Hello, GettingThere, Welcome to the board.

A lot of us have experienced similar things and when you're in the middle of a crisis like that, it's hard to see the dawn. Somehow my family wound up trying to sell two houses in the Carter administration. Boy! That brought us to our knees (but while we were on our knees, we looked up and found Someone greater than all our problems.)
