I had a Jamba Juice the other night and really LOVE them.. But gosh they are expensive.... So i decided to try something and thought you might enjoy this as well...

2 bananas
handful of frozen Mangos
4 to 5 frozen or fresh strawberries
1/2 cup or less of soy milk; i just kind of dumped in blender (we used that b/c of my son) i'm sure real milk would work just as well..)
4 spoonfuls apx. of strawberry/banana yoplait yogurt
6 to 8 ice cubes

Blender in blender... It tasted not kidding just like the Strawberry Wild jamba juice... It was SO yummy! My dd that had enjoyed a smoothie with me the other night at JJ said gosh Mom you did it; it's just like that one. :thumb

The biggest bonus for a few bucks more for all the ingredients i can have many more then one.

Coffee: I am a HUGE mocha lover... But these can get expensive too; and really in my house as i am a mocha addict.. :lol2 and i don't care for plain coffee....

I found an alternative: I make a 4 cup pot of GOOD coffee: ie: starbucks beans, Seattle's best, etc.

Put in 1/2 coffee cup of milk; warm in microwave; fill up the cup the rest of the way with coffee, add chocolate syrup and whip cream. Whala - Mocha at home.... and not nearly as much as i spend when i buy them.. :thumb

Add yours if you want.... :hat

I don't have any recipes to compare with these two. I am excited about trying both of these you put on here. I'll do some research and try to find something I can share with you, though.

I want to try one of them tonight. They both look good. I'll let my daughter decide which one. I'll let you know. I'm gonna copy this page, so I'll have the recipe handy. I'm not exactly a great chef in the kitchen, but "these" I have to try.

So your hubby is not only a chef, but a comedian, too, huh?
