Has anyone ever thought about joining Muslim message boards with the purpose of trying to get some saved?

Hi John Doe,
Most Muslim message boards are broadcast in Arabic, so a better chance to witness to the Islamic community would be to join a board that caters to Muslims who are searching for answers or are curious about the Christian faith.
I'm a Mod at Ex-Muslims (http://www.formermuslims.com/forum/index.php). The Webmaster of their site says:
"We are a few Christians from a Muslim background, who love the Lord Jesus Christ and want to deliver the message of the Gospel to our Muslims brothers and sisters."
The forum now has over 4500 registered users and almost 15,000 articles geared toward witnessing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the Muslim community...

Edited to add: We do have boards there that are in Arabic for those who don't speak nor post in English. However we do have Moderators that are fluent and can post in that language and therefore Moderate those specific boards.

We're hearing wonderful stories on that board Jayna of how the Holy Spirit is working mightily in the Muslim world. There are Muslims everywhere that are having visions of Jesus and are coming to Him in droves. We are seeing the following take place before our eyes:
"And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:" (Acts 2:17 KJV)
There's a young man on the board from a Middle Eastern country and Jesus appeared to him in a dream. This young man's heart was convicted and he gave his life to Christ.
He wanted to share the news with his mother but was afraid if he did his mother would tell his father who would kill him for leaving the Muslim faith.
The young man now says his mother is beginning to have dreams of Christ.
What a time to be alive and serving our Lord...

That is an awesome idea. Instead of seeing them as villians, we can actually love them.

One thing i would be wary of when posting to Muslim boards, a NJ Christian family (originally from Egypt) was slaughtered by several Muslims from a board the father was prosletyzing to. I wouldnt discourage anyone from evangelizing on those boards, just know there is an element of risk.

After reading many of the comments on Rapture Ready related to Muslims, and participating in a discussion on Muslims asking for a school holiday, I seriously think someone should write a post on what it really means to Love Our Neighbors as Ourselves and it should be made a sticky. Too many people here, in my opinion, seem to miss the mark on what that means as exhibited by comments made in regards to Islam and Muslims. I am not saying that anyone should idolize or embrace another religion, but when Christians hate others, make derogatory statements about others we disagree with, etc it makes us no better than those we are condemning for their evil ways. If I was a Muslim and practicing Islamic who heard about the rapture of Christians and wanted to know more and came across this message board, the comments in some of these threads would quickly turn me away from Christianity.
As I posted elsewhere about a friend I have witnessed to for a long time who went with his estranged father and his step family to a JW conference-he saw them as supposedly an example of "Christ" and didn't like the attitudes of the people he saw (some were rude and prideful) and told me he wanted nothing to do with people like that or that religion. Our actions and words speak loudly. We can't say we love our neighbor while slapping them in the face.

"A Coptic Christian's man's heated exchanges with Muslims in an internet chat room could be the motive behind what could be the first ritual murder by Muslims of a Christian family in the United States."
Heated exchanges produce nothing, especially during times of witness, and in this case, anger made him a target. We must abide by the instructions His Word offers during our efforts:
"Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine." (2 Timothy 4:2 KJV)
"But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:" (Ephesians 4:15 KJV)
Let the Spirit lead to witness where He will, but when you do, you're acting under the authority and with the protection of the King! As long as He wills it, you'll be fine...
"Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil." (Ephesians 6:11 KJV)
"The LORD of hosts hath sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand:" (Isaiah 14:24 KJV)

I dont sense anyone hates Muslims on this board. Any thread in particular you are referring to?
Ive seen some threads that speak against some of the more radical Islamic views but nothing that could be considered Muslim bashing so to speak.
Jehova Witnesses (JW you are referring to?) suffer a disconnect from the true
Gospel though im surprised they rejected visitors or treated them harshly, they dont seem to leave someone alone if they feel they can convert them to JW.
