MINOCQUA, Wis. (AP) - Dozens of drivers made a mad rush for cheap gas after a station employee accidentally changed the price to 33 cents a gallon.
He left about 10 p.m., but drivers could still use their credit cards to buy gas......586 gallons of gas in an hour and 45 minutes....

Just another way the world has become. They will take advantage of anyones mistake at all cost. Its a sad world we live in. :(

I used to work at Howard Young Medical Center - years ago. I no longer live in Wisconsin as I moved farther south. But, this still surprises me --I know, it shouldn't. The Minoqua/Woodruff area is one of those areas that always made me appreciate God's beauty. The people I knew and worked with seemed to have a very finely tuned sense of right and wrong. To say I'm disappointed in the behavior that was displayed by those individuals taking advantage would be an understatement.

Yup. I wonder if there is any way the gas station can go back after these people (they do have their cc information) due to the fact that the main store sign had the correct price?
"There were cars two deep at each of my pumps," said Reuland, who knew many of the drivers and told them they were being dishonest—the main store sign had the correct price.

Kinda price gouging in reverse.
Yes they should go after them and make them pay the right price.

when did this happen? Cause here in the Milwaukee area we have gas around $2.89/gallon and it's been this low all of December
