Oprah is backing Obama because she wants a Black President in the White House. Yea, it's that shallow.

If all she wanted was a Black president, than she'd vote for Alan Keyes. Obama is half black. Maybe Oprah simply thinks that he is the best candidate for the job? Plenty of people do.

I don't wish to answer for Rachael but my question is why would Oprah wish to back a Born Again Christian would would run in the Democratic ticket when she is a known Democrat and into New Age?

Sorry I mean Alan Keyes would run on the Republican ticket. Alan Keyes is Conservative.

My point is, If Oprah most likely supports him because she believes He's the best for the job. If it was all about blackness and not issues, than she would support Keyes.

I don't believe that. He is a Liberal and he is black. The reason she never backed any candidate before is because they were not liberal and black. I see right through her. Oprah is New Age.

You can't say that for sure. I know many people in support of Obama who are all kinds of colors. What makes you think her support is only race-based?
