I am doing a little survey for research. What do you think is the cause of global warming? :candle

I would ask people not to respond to other people's comments right away. I want a bunch of direct answers before any debates ensue.

Thanks!

Coal burning (very high in China), more use of gas in cars (India and China), burning down of rainforest - this is just a few of the real bad items I have read about.

I don't believe man has much of anything to do with it, I think the earth goes in cycles.

I agree with the above poster. I think that the earth goes through cycles of warming and cooling. We just have not paid that much attention in the past hundreds of years to these cycles.

The Sun!

Like all stars, our sun has cycles where it grows hotter and brighter, then cooler and less bright. We are now in a warmer part of the cycle, like the Medievil and Roman Warm Periods.

Too much pollution? And I don't really mean from SUVs.

Probably us, as the spike in CO2 is unprecedented as far back as we can measure, and there's no natural explanation for that.

I, personally, think that global warming is a combination of cycles AND our own influence. But, then again, I do not label myself a republican. :heh
