How do I get a picture that links in sig?

I want to add a picture link to my sig (from this website: http://www.evangelismteam.com ), but I can't seem to get the picture to work. If you click on MEDIA then LINK TO US, they give the codes, but I can't seem to make it work. :idunno Help?

Well, first, if you're wanting to take the codes directly from their pics and use them in your siggy, that is hotlinking and you're stealing their bandwidth.

I'm trying to use the pictures they allow. If you go to http://www.evangelismteam.com, then to MEDIA then LINK TO US, you can see the pictures they allow us to use.

Amy, what you're seeing is HTML (hypertext markup language) code, which is used to formulate webpages. The actual picture is in there...it's what starts with 'http' and ends with 'jpg' but it's sandwiched in the other HTML code.

If you highlight that part and copy and paste it here, with the and start and ending, it'll work.

For instance, if you go to that page, and you like a picture tied to the following code:

<a href="http://www.evangelismteam.com/" target="_blank" img src="http://www.evangelismteam.com/banners/evangelism318x60.jpg" alt="Evangelism Team" width="318" height="60" border="0”>

you'll need to copy JUST the bolded/highlighted part, and then put that in your signature, with the standard 'img' tags. :)
