Hi there

I am doing a web development project for a client that should grow in future and which I hope can be a blessing for members of this board too, but need your help.

www.psalms.co.za is a domain registered just for the Book of Psalms and since the domain name applies to both English and Afrikaans ("Psalms" is spelt the same way in Afrikaans) it has a potentially large audience.

I have been able to secure the use of the KJV text and am waiting for permission to use the Afrikaans text. What I need is a basic, easy to understand, but theologically sound interpretation of each psalm. If you have a look on the site you will see that the first six psalms have been done. In need the same idea for the rest. Your interpretation and comment of the particular psalm could refer to existing material (I used Dake's Annotated Reference Bible and The Life Application Bible in some instances) and I will credit you with the interpretation of the particular psalm. Anyone on the board who speaks Afrikaans can send me their interpretation, and Dutch and Flemish speakers are more than welcome too.

Send your interpretation as plain e-mail text or in Word / Word Perfect / format. An e-mail link is available on the main page. Many thanks in advance. The site is far from finished and I welcome suggestions!

Chuck Missler just finished a good Psalm by Psalm study of the book.
Go to this link: http://www.khouse.org/6640_cat/biblestudy/psalms/

If for some reason it does not work, go to www.khouse.org, click on 66/40 Radio Show under Audio/Video, then click on Bible Studies under Archived Broadcasts and then on Psalms.

oh, dont use dakes annotated bible commentary

It is extra biblical, and is not sound interpretation.

I have one, and have read it some and it makes out to explain the scriptures in such a way that you are lead to believe things that the bible does not say.
