They Speak From The World And The World Listens To Them

“Father” Michael Manning, is a leading purveyor of apostate Roman Catholicism (http://www.apprising.org/archives/roman_catholicism/index.html) and host of “The Word in the World” on the Trinity Broadcasting Network.

In the video clip below from Larry King Live Manning will tell us that people can be saved apart from Christ by living the best they can whatever faith they happen to be in.

This happens to be right in line with Roman Catholicism (http://www.apprising.org/archives/2007/12/apostate_roman.html), as is his lavish praise for the false world religion of Islam whose sacrifices are not actually offered to God but rather to demons.

This piece goes immediately off the rails when King begins by saying: “If you don’t believe in Christ when you die, you are going to Hell?” Manning then replies, “No, not at all.”

So if salvation can only be through Rome
but salvation can be apart from Christ
Does this mean Rome is apart from Christ? :scratch

I'm sorry.

I didn't mean to make light of this and make this seem like a 'come-back line' which it is not.

Being a former catholic, I feel this is a serious matter and should not be made light of. I had my tv on this morning and our local station had their usual morning 'devotions' and they were elevating Mary again on the very same level as God the Father and Jesus God The Son. They were calling her "mother of God and worthy of praise" and I had to turn off and say a prayer. Where I come from, our idea of evangelism is still catholicism and anyone who is preaching true Christianity is seen as somewhat of a nut.

It is very serious, good to help people think it through.

John MacArthur does a great job with these audios at this page... take a listen. I've heard them twice in the last year just to "brush up" on what they believe:
