I know this is sort of off topic, but what do you all suggest we do about this? I own a small business, and whenever the economy takes a hit, things get a little crazy around here. Would it be wise to invest all our cash into something stable like gold?

John Doe, it is hard to know what to do. The economy has been overall, very good .... even if artificially ... for so long, that none of us are old enough to know for sure. We're watching ....... Right now, imho, gold is a good investment. I don't have any money in gold because I don't have any money. But if I did, that is where it would be. I actually was looking into buying some 5.5 years ago and then, after 20 years at a company, it shut down. I haven't had full time employment since though I've worked a tremendous amount of hours; either at finding work or doing work that I found. Now I am at risk of losing my house but I still have 2 children at home. So, I watch .......

If I had the money today, I would buy some gold. Mostly though, I would use it to lay up treasures in heaven. :)

Good man! I pray the Lord blesses you in the meantime, my friend, in finding a more stable career...

John, you said you were a small business owner. I was going to PM you so I could ask a question. You apparently have that feature disabled. That's fine. If you don't mind me asking you a question though, could you PM me?

That's ok if you don't want to. We all have reasons for our choices.

God bless,
Issachar
