Interesting Quotes from Brigham Young
the Second Prophet of the Mormon Church

Brigham Young said your own blood must atone for some sins.
"There is not a man or woman, who violates the covenants made with their God, that will not be required to pay the debt. The blood of Christ will never wipe that out, your own blood must atone for it . . . " (Journal of Discourses, Vol. 3, page 247; see also, Vol. 4, pp. 53-54, 219-220.)

Brigham Young said you must confess Joseph Smith as a prophet of God in order to be saved.
"...and he that confesseth not that Jesus has come in the flesh and sent Joseph Smith with the fullness of the Gospel to this generation, is not of God, but is Antichrist." (Journal of Discourses, Vol. 9, p. 312).

Brigham Young said his discourses are as good as Scripture.
"I say now, when they [his discourses] are copied and approved by me they are as good Scripture as is couched in this Bible . . . " (Journal of Discourses, Vol. 13, p. 264; see also page 95.)

Joseph Smith, Brigham Young, who is next? Joseph Smith provided us with another testament of Jesus Christ. Or so they (mormons) say. What is to keep another from providing another testament or testimony, as they say? I say JESUS is all we need ! The Bible is not to be added to. In Galatians 1:8 the apostle Paul says if we, someone else or even an angel from heaven should bring you another gospel, let them be eternally condemned or in KJV it says let them be accursed.:preach The false prophet - Joseph Smith - was born many centuries after Paul wrote this letter to the Galatians. I doubt their angel - Maroni -was from heaven but even if so ... Galatians 1:8

In a way, the beliefs of the mormons and those of the muslims are the same. As far as both Islam and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints both believe in a prophet, born many centuries after Jesus Christ. {Joseph Smith/Muhammed} Both of these false prophets add to the Bible supposedly from and angel's communicating to 'em. Galatians 1:8 pertains to both false religions. If they would only accept the the Bible.
