There are always so many great threads here in this particular forum. I'm just curious, where you do get your breaking news? Television, Internet news sources, email alerts, blogs? Share the news junkie love.

Google News is a good source as it searches 4500 sources. http://news.google.com/nwshp?tab=wn&hl=en
I have an FeedReader (http://www.feedreader.com/)which allows me to subscribe to news feeds that offer RSS/XML (http://whatisrss.com/).

internet...links to papers all over the world. Just google the country and news and you'll come up with a ton of good stuff (google will even translate it into english)

From too many places to list. I love the internet. No longer do we have to rely on Commies like Uncle Walter to digest the news for us and spoon feed us. With the internet and talk radio, we've got more news than we know what to do with.
The interesting part is how the Dems despise talk radio and the conservative blogs. They are itching to shut it all down.
