I personally have seen, "Christians" who talk one way and live totally against the teachings of the Word. Very sad. If you saw them out in public, you wouldn't know they are "Christians" They would rather be of the world.

Excellent post Buzz.:thumb My wife came across the book The Way of The Master at the Library, and then went to the Living Waters website about a year ago. She ordered Hell's best kept Secret, and The Way of The Master for me to readm and pass on. Really opened our eyes:faint

We never really thought about looking to God's Top Ten to see what sin truly was and how, when we first believed, did not know what what it was that we were to be fully repentant for. I always figured it was because of Adam's sin that was the reason. What an eye opener.

Since then I have been emboldened enough to share with my fellow Soldiers. I have begun to understand what it means to humble oneself before the Lord. And I have also realized that it is far more importatnt to fear Him, than fear those, and the tottally irrelevant to the actual meaning of life policies that have engulfed our society.

From what I have seen from other post's, I see that it is not really a lack of faith, we all have that from the alarm clock in the AM, to our cars starting each day, but true humility, where I am not really greater that the person standing in line next to me.

Once again, Awesome post. Once in awhile we need to see something like this to help "Wake us up" and see that time is short, and there is oh so much work to do.

I think this end times layout is quite incredible and eye-opening.

the only one that i feel is unjustly there is the increase in vegetarianism. this is a personal choice and not one that goes against the Lord, as long as it's done with thanksgiving.

God never commanded us to eat meat and as long as we eat with a grateful heart towards God, that is what matters to him.. with a clear conscience before him.

Now i would say that Peta is way over the top and I don't respect the things they push on other people. But Peta doesn't = all vegetarians.

Paul is warning Timothy that in latter times there would arise people that would forbid to marry and command church members to abstain from meats. this does not encompass all vegetarians, particularly those who choose vegetarians for outside reasons that have NOTHING to do with being led by a false teacher, etc. Some people have a personal conviction and want to exercise the fruit of compassion toward the practices of factory farming.



1Timothy 4:3 has been taken out of context for awhile. Some mistakenly assume from the above text that God is telling us that we can eat literally anything so long as we receive it with thanksgiving. If we believe that is the case, then we have just handed the cannibals of New Guinea a biblical basis for pursuing their practice of eating the flesh of their fellow human beings.


After all, doesn’t the text say, “every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving”?

Did God say we could eat every herb bearing seed, and every tree? yes. But would you and I eat Poison Ivy or the Poinsettia plant ? Are they not part of the herbs bearing seed? Yes. But no one in their right mind would eat these things. To do so would be presumptuous. God has given us common sense and wisdom to help us understand what is included in His permission to eat every herb. We recognize that sin has changed things. The curse is resting more and more heavily upon the earth as sin deepens in the world.

I thank the Lord and whoever took time to do the research on this post Im dying to know more. It took me a while to read it Im a single mother of 4 who decided not to relye on my flesh anymore but to consult Jesus in every move thought and motive that I will have from this day on and this page made me thristy for my Lord. Glory be to God I hope to find more literature like this.
