Buzzardhut = You are correct when you said in your post...salvation is for all who come! This is a promise that God has made to all sinner who come to
Him in their Savior. God also promised believers eternal life.
IF salvation is not eternal
then the promise of eternal life is false too.
Praise be to God we have eternal salvation and eternal life because
God keeps His promises!!

ok my opinion on this I would say yes once you are saved you are saved how ever that doesn't say that if you go out and purposely commit sins over and over again and then turn around and say oh forgive me Lord but in the next minute you are purposely doing it again and think well I can do what I want here and then just turn around and say oh God forgive me please over and over again many times a day for your own flesh to be satisfied as well as your mind secure or should I say false security. I'm sorry but in such a situation I have to say no you wouldn't go with the Lord because you were not truely saved in the first place your heart has to be true to wanting to follow the Lord's commandments and laws and truely feel repentance for your sins otherwise it is just a lie and as such an abomination in the eyes of our Lord. I can't say I can break scripture down and claim I know every meaning of every parable verse or scripture because as a babe in christ I am still learning and believe we are ALL always on a path of learning and as such yes we are gonna make mistakes and yeah I can say it's pretty sure some will be made at the time the rapture comes as we dont know when it is and there fore it'll happen however I believe strongly that the Lord knows a persons thoughts heart and soul and that is what he goes off of as to whether it is someting you did on a stumbling moment or if you just really never knew him and if you never really knew him or have chosen that the path of the flesh is your path then you better believe you will be left behind As the Lord says the way is but through him so maybe we need to take that one quite literally as he meant it.
HUGS and God Bless you all!

Good post, Matthew6.
Babes in Christ often see things more clearly than those who have been on the pathway many years.

Good post, Matthew6.

Thank You!
I'm not sure if it is a babes in Christ or a eagerness to be right with the lord
that allows people to see things more clearly but I like to think it is the later
of the two. I for one am trying to learn to check myself before I speak things
or even share my opinions with people. I think if we teach ourselves to only
say things that check out with the holy spirit we are more likely to see things
the way we should is all.
Hugs and God Bless!

You did not obtain your salvation from works and therefore you can not lose it by works. Amen to that!!! Seriously that should make every born again believer praise the Lord. I am so thankful we can not earn it or lose it.
So when the trumpet sounds and I hear the shout "come up here" I will be with the Lord forevermore. I will tell you. Since I have diagnosed with cancer there is an even greater longing for the Lord's return.

Hey, Buzz:
I tried to read the scriptural reference but I don't see the connection between mass communication of today and the Biblical text. Could you help me out?
i.e.4.
Global communications foreseen (Revelation 11:9-10; 17:8). The Bible prophesies that the entire world will see certain events unfold. The invention of the television and the deployment of global satellite networks during the 20th century allow news to travel the world at the speed of light for the first time ever. Remember that in the apostle John's day, news traveled at the speed of horseback.
