The 70th week is the future "7 year tribulation period," which doesn't take place until the Church is removed (at the rapture), and the covenant is confirmed by the AC.
It doesn't pertain to the Church, it pertains to Israel's future (we won't be here).

Hope my previous post did not confuse anyone.

I do believe it will be soon, though. :)

Thank you, didn't realize my wording did not make myself clear that we are "approaching" 70th week of Daniel, not "in" the 70th week, which you are correct, does not begin until the tribulation. I changed it to reflect this. Thank you so much for pointing that out, because it is very important. 70th week will begin now at any time. Everyone keep looking up!

Stop being like Thomas (who did not believe Jesus would keep His promise He will rise up alive......) therefore believe and hope and faith without doubt - UNDERSTAND

Look up Heaven ( Col 3:1-2) which Jesus promise you to have hope, faith, joy, peace, and service HIM....spread the gospel of power from God's words Roman 1:16......

Put your heart trust, love with allllllllllll your mind, heart, soul and strength:preach:preach

We don't know what you talk about what time and when He will come as He told you spread the Gospel till He call us to go home....smile...

One thing we know for sure, He isn't coming until the end of the 7 yr trib which hasn't even begun yet. Do the math. The rapture is a different question. To Pretribbers, that can happen anytime. Mid and Prewrathers, as early as 3 1/2 years from now and post tribbers, at least 7 yrs from now. I'm just content with being obedient to Him and being pleasantly surprised when it happens.:hat

Can you clarify something for me? Are you simply just stating the different standpoints on the Rapture, or are you saying you saying you think it will happen at different times based on their beliefs? :scratch

Also, looking at the technology we are completely SET for the mark of the beast, etc. "The whole world" can watch the death of the two witnesses, etc.

I know He's coming in m lifetime.


I agree to a point. As a Computer Scientist (my degree that I do not use....) I can debate the technology being ready. It depends on what will be used. We can certainly have a cashless society, but those believing we will all be chipped will be waiting at least 50 more years. The cost and available material is not available, and will not be available, for another generation. Personally, I do not believe the Bible is discussing a chip of any kind, so I think our generation is the last.

Yes, I know there's more than three beliefs on this.... Part of the reason I had asked for clarification was that I was gonna say-- that'd be a new one: someone thinking you're raptured based on when you think you'd be raptured! :lol2

Hi Mooky! I hope you read around while you're here about the pre-trib position. :thumb We have a wonderful, sure hope!

I also hope you saw this posting rule:

We believe in a literal 7 year Tribulation period, after the instantaneous Rapture of all regenerated believers in unison, during which God finishes His discipline of Israel, protects Israel, and finalizes His judgments on the unbelieving world. No suggestions of living righteously enough for the rapture, or salvation unattainable after the Rapture is allowed.
All discussions on these topics must follow suit. Jesus said we won't know the day nor hour of His return and always be ready keeping watch.
