People who deny the rapture or go for mid-trib/end-trib aren't really backed up by Scripture. This belief seems to stem more from a 'I'd rather stay here and live my life' attitude than anything else. :idunno Could also be fear. I just can't wrap my head around anyone being AFRAID of Jesus returning.

I've talked to some about the end of the age and they close their ears and refuse to listen to anything that suggests they won't be able to grow up and live their lives out, talking as if the whole world and all of God's plans revolve around their desires. It can be disheartening. Praise God that there are places such as this that are like an oasis for us.

100 years? It is possible, but I doubt it. However, it could be a lot longer than people think.

Here are some scriptures for those who doubt the pre-trib scenario. Who do they think the armies which were in heaven are following Jesus upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean? It is the children of God who were already raptured. Read these scriptures Rev 19:11-16 :hug :hat

Hi Mooky! I hope you read around while you're here about the pre-trib position. :thumb We have a wonderful, sure hope!

I also hope you saw this posting rule:

[15] No promotion of Mid, Post Tribulation, Prewrath, Partial Rapture, Preterism, or Replacement theology. This board is traditional Pre-Tribulation Rapture, Pre 6 Seals, Pre 70th week, and Pre-Millennial Dispensational of End Times Prophecy. No posting alternative theories from other websites. We believe in a literal 7 year Tribulation period, after the instantaneous Rapture of all regenerated believers in unison, during which God finishes His discipline of Israel, protects Israel, and finalizes His judgments on the unbelieving world. Salvation will remain open to people trusting in Jesus for salvation up to the Second Coming.
No suggestions of living righteously enough for the rapture, or salvation unattainable after the Rapture is allowed.
All discussions on these topics must follow suit. Jesus said we won't know the day nor hour of His return and always be ready keeping watch.

Just a heads up. :hat

Got it.

That's a good point. I've also found that some with the belief of anything but pre-Trib think that we deserve to suffer, somehow. That it's part of the persecution and tribulation that Jesus told us we'd have. Not true! We are not appointed to wrath. (1 Thessalonians 5:9)

Our judgement was taken for us, as believers, on the cross at Calvary.

We need not fear punishment.

Praise God!

I agree to a point. As a Computer Scientist (my degree that I do not use....) I can debate the technology being ready. It depends on what will be used. We can certainly have a cashless society, but those believing we will all be chipped will be waiting at least 50 more years. The cost and available material is not available, and will not be available, for another generation. Personally, I do not believe the Bible is discussing a chip of any kind, so I think our generation is the last.

This may be correct, it may not as far as how long it will take. Technology seems to be on a bullet train right now. However, tattooing barcodes is readily available. I just saw a story last week on Drudge about a guy who got a barcode tattooed that his IPhone scanned and took the phone to a website. We've all seen the fastpass credit cards, so if a tattoo barcode works, which has been demonstrated, then, combine the fastpass with this, and voila...MOB.

That has been talked about for over thirty years. I remember Southwest Radio Church doing so back then.

The seccond coming could be a hunderd years away. however, that doesnt put the rapture anyfurther away.

Enoch was raptured many years/generations before Noahs flood.

The fact that Israel, MOB and endtimes technology, and OWG structure are here now proves that the tribulation period is very near -likely within the average persons lifetime- which makes the rapture even closer for us.
