Do you think that the lust for violence and movies has in anyway affected your walk with the Lord? How can a Christian abide in Christ and His words abide in you when such movies are routinelly watched that contain, murder, adultery, fornication, drunkeness, occult, etc.
I'm just wondering if we, that is those who claim to be Christians, would turn away from the world and it's entertainment and not let our temples be defiled by Hollywoods filth, would we then have a greater impact on the world around us?
Don't get me wrong I'm not judging anyone, but it seems that Christianity is in a mess just like our countries and we are powerless to do anything about it.
The Lord Jesus died to deliver us from this evil present world, what are we doing going back to it for our entertainment. Don't you want your life to count for the Lord Jesus?
Let's take a stand for the Lord and against the things that defile.
Just my 2 cents worth.........

Not guilty.

little women is my favorite. I'm serious. My second favorite is cinderella man. Yes I am a girl and proud of it. Hubby was lurking in here and I thought i would put in my two sense worth.
Absolutely not "Little Women." Gives me the willies just typing the name.

Hugh Hewitt does a top 10 movie list every Friday on his radio show. One week, it was Christmas movies. They did the list and callers were adding movies they thought should be on the list. One caller, a guy who needs to turn in his "boys," said "Little Women." Hugh and Emmett of the Unblinking Eye said "NO!" simultaneously and hung up on him.

Latest addition to my favourites list:

Beauty and the Beast: I finally watched this, thanks to my niece. Now, while I don't see why this managed to penetrate through the anti-animation bias at the Academy and get that Best Picture nomination while The Lion King didn't (it's possibly due to inferior films in the year Beauty and the Beast was released), it does deserve all the kudos it gets. Brilliantly made film, with all the excellence you'd expect from Disney in their prime.

Off topic: I have a theory that my television couldn't handle the ownage of the film, because it mysteriously went on the blink as soon as the video (yeah, it's an old video) finished (good thing it didn't go on the blink during the video, for all concerned).

I have not seen it mentioned yet so I am going to go with my favorite...

The Natural

Not quite on par in terms of the violence compared to the others listed, but it is definitely a guy's movie.
