Have to concur on The Big Red One. IMHO, that's one of the best war movies ever made.

Are you a fan of Tony Hillerman books? Great take on the Anasazi, Navaho, and Hopi cultures in the form of novels.

Back before kids, when I had time to read, I picked up a lot of fiction at the Good Will type stores. You'll find plenty of Tony Hillerman books there and you only end up spending a fraction of the regular admission.

golfnerd mentioned some comedies--forgot about Blazing Saddles but yes, that was funny! I don't think that movie could be produced these days with our politically correct culture. "The sheriff is near"
Another comedy would be Three Amigos! "Do you have anything to eat besides Mexican?" :pound Her: "You may kiss me on the veranda." Him: "The lips will be fine."

I saw Dirty Harry last night starring Clint Eastwood. That was a good one. Especially that deviant guy who raped and kidnapped a bus full of kids got it in the end.

Yep, whoever said Clint Eastwood earlier was right. I like a lot of his movies.
