I have really been getting into Chuck's teachings of late. I'm particular impressed with his scientific background and ability to explain many of what I thought were the unexplainables of the bible in scientific terms.
He has an extensive biblical teaching library and course content on his www.Khouse.org site, through his 66/40 broadcast. The cost is very modest when done through the download option.
So, the question is......any thoughts on this man. I have heard nothing but superlatives but wanted to do a last sanity check before starting this. Its libel to take a few years going at it daily.
Thanks in advance for your comments.

I like Chuck Missler a lot. I don't always agree with him but that's ok. He really pushes the envelope sometimes. I think that's what I like about him. He takes chances and sticks his neck out.
During the last couple of weeks, I've been listening to his Revelation series. I found that I disagree with him that the 7 lamps of fire (Rev 4:5) are the same as the 7 lampstands in Rev 1:20. But I thought his relating of the 7 parables in Matthew 13 to the 7 letters to the churches in Asia was very insightful.
I think the best thing I have learned from CM is how to view the Bible as a single consistent book.

that you appreciate what you can agree with Chuck Missler. Just a kind reminder, Brother Missler is human too as well as a Christian. But we need to always check with the Word of God to see if what he or any other teacher says is back up with the Bible.

One of my go-to resources everyday. I love his 66/40 radio studies that I can listen to every day. I saw him speak in Maine a few years ago and was blown away.
BTW ~ Chuck Missler starts many of his Bible studies with the instruction to write Acts 17:11 on the top of the page to remind people that "Don't ever believe what Chuck Misslers says but be like the Thessaloneans and search the scriptures daily to see if what I say is true."

I've been trying to figure out what it is about Chuck Missler that I like so well. There are a lot of people out there with books and tapes, but I only really listen to a few of them, and CM is in the top three somewhere. I like his doctrine of the inerrancy of scripture. I wouldn't listen to anyone who held a different view. He's an excellent communicator. But I think the real reason I like him is because he excites my curiosity.
You don't study the Bible for very long until you realize that all the books and study aids in the world can never replace opening the Bible and studying it for yourself. This is what CM does. He gives me fresh perspectives on scriptures I have read sometimes dozens of times and never seen the things he sees. I have listened to him sometimes for 30 minutes and spent the next 4 hours looking into what he has said. Whether I end up agreeing with him or not is almost irrelevant. To say that a teacher imparts knowledge is good but, I really know of no higher compliment for a teacher than to say he makes me excited about studying the Bible.

Thank you everybody for your feedback. I am very much enjoying and learning from this man. I especially like the way he makes sure he says this is a POSSIBLE explination of what something means or the way it happened.
I did want to make this sanity check before going too much further in his teachings.
From his site....http://www.khouse.org, I've downloaded a number of his teachings with the slide shows that go with them. His scientific explinations for some of the previously parts of the bible that were impossible to understand have been worth their weight in gold for me.:thumb
The other thing I like is how cheap his downloads are for the full teaching and slide shows. This is not a dollar grab, but a "cover the cost" approach
