Veterans angered by defacing attributed to violent Hispanic gang

Vandals claiming a relationship to the violent Hispanic street gang MS-13 defaced a Vietnam War memorial in Connecticut with graffiti, angering local veterans.
"Kill whites MS 13" were among the threatening words spray-painted on the Vietnam War Memorial at Long Wharf, Conn., reported WTNH-TV in New Haven.

"This irks me. This hurts me deep to my heart," Vietnam Army veteran Emery Linton Sr. told the station.

Linton, who served in Vietnam from 1969 to 1972, noted he lost friends there and called the mess on the memorial a slap in the face to veterans who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country.

"People here respect these names. They gave their lives for everything, for the freedoms they have," Linton said.

Police are investigating whether the vandalism is the work of the violent MS-13 gang.

This gang is getting too big, i've heard of them for quite a while now.. They even send some of their gang members to the army to learn the street war tactics for their own benefits. The police needs to crack down on them before they get too hard to deal with. imo

I agree, but think it is too late. They are already believed to be helping AQ operatives into the US.

They have practically taken over LA, and many other large US cities.

They should have cracked down a very long time ago. As well as secure the border.:doh

I agree... I believe that any attack that happens here won't be from some missle thousands of miles away but from something just walked right in through our open borders. I will never understand in a million years why if we are at war why we don't do anything to protect our borders.

It's like if I knew someone wanted to kill me and my family but I leave my gate open and my doors unlocked, and then go off and leave them alone while I go to the next town searching door to door. All the while the guys who wanted to kill us are walking right through my unlocked door.

It doesn't make any sense.

Not to mention that illegal aliens kill more Americans every year than muslim terrorists ever have. Now we have illegal alien gangs helping the muslim terrorists, targeting African Americans for death, and destroying memorials, and still nothing gets done... Lovely.

Hmm, pretty nifty group. I had never heard of them before, glad to hear they're doing what they are though.

I am seriously afraid for any non-violent, non-confrontational group, i.e. anyone who isn't armed law enforcement, guarding the memorial and grounds. The dead body of a pregnant girlfriend of an MS-13 gang member was found in one of our local national parks. It came out that she had become an informant for the FBI who had her in protective custody and were willing to put her and her baby into witness protection after she testified against members of the gang. Unfortunately, she returned to the boyfriend, but unbeknownst to her the gang had somehow found out what she'd done. The boyfriend and a couple of other members were eventually arrested for her murder and what's really frightening is the boyfriend admitted to killing the girlfriend and his OWN unborn child in cold blood! :fear He was told by gang leaders he either killed her to prove his loyalties were with the gang or he'd be killed himself. There was no remorse whatsoever for what he did. These people are void of any conscience whatsoever and don't think twice about killing people.
