Ok, I know lots of stuff, ya know I am just gifted that way.:pound:pound:doh kidding of course.

Anyway, one thing I don't quite understand is the day of judgment. I know we are redeemed by the blood of The Lamb, I know we are saved no matter what. BUT, will we have to stand in front of God and give an answer to our sin? Will we have to see all our sin that has been recorded, just like the unsaved? The only difference being that the ransom has been paid for ours?

Does this questing make any sense? :doh

Please explain this like I am a seven year old.

We "the saved by grace" will not go before the "White Throne of Judgement." We will however, come before Christ to receive our "Jewels in our Crowns." of which we lay at His feet. I don't have the access to my notes on this as of yet... other posters jump in... but I do know that the judgement upon us was placed upon Christ on the Cross.

Remember... Christ's last words were. "It is finished." That meaning, the judgement upon the "saved" is done. God has promised to forget our sins and to "remove them from His thoughts as far as the east is from the west." Amazing, that the God, our Father; all knowing, has chosen to forget our sins, if we just repent and turn toward His Son for salvation. Mind you, this is a daily repentance. Not just once and then forget about seeking His face. but to continuously seek Him and ask for forgiveness; knowing we are forgiven through the blood of Christ.

I don't have my notes so other posters will have to jump in.

Agape!

p.s. I know you know about salvation. I just stated those things for any "curious" unsaved readers out there.

from memory, I believe the judgement of the saved will not be based on our sin but rather what we did (or didn't do) for the Kingdom after salvation. Some people will get more crowns because they did more to advance the kingdom.

No, we stand at the BEMA seat of Christ...

When we go before the Father... Christ is our advent/lawyer... we have already been judged and forgiven by Christ for those sins.

We are judged for our works at the Bema seat (not the Great Whote Throne Judgement which is for unbelievers)......

Romans 14:10-12 says, “For we will all stand before God’s judgment seat…so then, each of us will give an account of himself to God.” 2 Corinthians 5:10 tells us, “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive what is due him for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.” In the context of both Scriptures, it is clear that they are referring to Christians, not unbelievers. The Judgment Seat of Christ, therefore, involves believers giving an account of their lives to Christ. The Judgment Seat of Christ does not determine salvation; that was determined by Christ’s sacrifice on our behalf (1 John 2:2), and our faith in Him (John 3:16). All of our sins are forgiven and we will never be condemned for them (Romans 8:1). We should not look at the Judgment Seat of Christ as God judging our sins, but rather as God rewarding us for our lives. Yes, as the Scriptures say, we will have to give an account of our lives. Part of this is surely answering for the sins we committed. However, that is not going to be the primary focus of the Judgment Seat of Christ.

At the Judgment Seat of Christ, believers are rewarded based on how faithfully they served Christ (1 Corinthians 9:4-27; 2 Timothy 2:5). The things we will likely be judged on are how well we obeyed the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20), how victorious we were over sin (Romans 6:1-4), how well we controlled our tongue (James 3:1-9), etc. The Bible speaks of believers receiving crowns for different things based on how faithfully they served Christ (1 Corinthians 9:4-27; 2 Timothy 2:5). The various crowns are described in 2 Timothy 2:5; 2 Timothy 4:8; James 1:12; 1 Peter 5:4; and Revelation 2:10. James 1:12 is a good summary of how we should think about the Judgment Seat of Christ, “Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love Him.”

I vaguely remember someone saying that Christ would literally stand up for us when it was time for God to judge our sin, saying "I know him" or something to that effect...

Honestly don't know if it's biblical.
