Hey all, haven't posted in a while but still frequent the boards. Had a quick question though,
What does this passage mean?
"But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price." (1 Peter 3:4)
It was on the front of RR today and it caught my eye.

The context (described in the preceding verses) is God telling wives to lead nonbelieving husbands to Christ by their actions and behavior - their inner beauty and that God cares more about this (inner beauty, behavior, exhibiting a Christ like and loving demeanor) than he cares about outward beauty (e.g., adornment with jewlry, etc.)

If husbands will not hear preaching of the gospel, they will hear the preaching of the chaste behaviour of wives. If the wife conduct herself in purity to her husband, and in godly reverance, the husband may be won. (v2:3
