I've never had to buy a wheel before but alas, the time has come since my friend curbed the car and bent/cracked the front driver's side wheel. Seriously, if it was me, I would readily admit to it.

Anyways, I've called several salvage yards....none. I've called a couple of wheel dealers (huh? lol) and so far...none. TiresPlus called a dealership and a new one through them is $664. Yes, ONE = $664.00. :faintIt's an '03 Cavalier for crying out loud!!

I found the wheels on the following website but does it matter if I get an alloy not finished in chrome like my present ones are? The non-chrome one (http://www.wheelsandcaps.com/w_selection.php?_SUPPLIERSKU=ALY05144U&WandCRETURN=&_YEAR=2003&_MAKE=CHEVROLET&_MODEL=CAVALIER) is $147 for one (*cough*) and the chrome-finished one (http://www.wheelsandcaps.com/w_selection.php?_SUPPLIERSKU=ALY05145U&WandCRETURN=&_YEAR=2003&_MAKE=CHEVROLET&_MODEL=CAVALIER) is $283. Now I don't care if al four wheels don't match but I want to make sure I get the right one for the best price.

What do you guys think? I'm so confused :( :scratch :idunno

Salvage yards have connections to other salvage yards. If you get a contact at one, he might be able to track one down.

If it's a popular car, there should be plenty.

Check http://www.jcwhitney.com/Auto-Parts/10101.jcw.

Man, I used to order a lot of stuff from J.C. Whitney. Then I got into computers.

Or, also try 1-800-USED RIM. They might have one there that's used, and they sell pretty cheap!
