There are a few important things to be aware of when you are confronted by a Muslim. Islam is not compatible with Christianity. Many Western Liberal scholars attempt to say that Islam means peace and love, and they can not hide the vengeful and perverted teachings that are easily found in Islamic writings. I posted earlier to a way of witnessing to Muslims, as their god is not a God of love. They have much fear of their merits being weighed on the scales. 1,300,001 bad deeds and 1,300,000 good deads yields Hell for the Islamic believer. A salvation message can be preached to them when you understand what some of their fears about their faith are. I will not describe these topics in this thread. I will be supplying quotes that show that liberal scholars are incorrect in their assumptions about Islam being about peace and love! PC is not JC <>< !
Viable interpretation from the Koran:
"Try as you may, you cannot treat your wives impartially." Surah 4:3
"Men take authority over women... As fo those who are disobedient, admonish them and send them to beds apart and beat them." Surah 4:34
"Seek out your enemies relentlessly." Surah 4:104 :ohno
"They denied the truth and uttered a monstrous falsehood against Mary, they declared: 'We have put to death the Messiah, Jesus the son of Mary, the apostle of God.' they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him, but they thought they did.... they did not slay him for certain. God lifted him up to him.." Surah 4:157-158 :lol2
"Believers, take neither Jews or Christians to be your friends." Surah 5:51
"Unbelievers are those who say" 'God is one of three. There is but one God. If they do not desist from so saying, those of them that disbelieve shall be sternly punished." Surah 5:73
"If you fear treachery from any of your allies, you may fairly retaliate by breaking off your treaty with them." Surah 9:12
"Fight against such as those to whom the Scriptures were given (Jews and Christians).... until they pay tribute out of hand and are utterly subdued." Surah 9:29
"Muhammad is God's apostle. Those who follow him are rutheless to the unbelievers but merciful to one another." Surah 48:29
There are also many troubles with countless unparalelling scriptures. They say that God can not make mistakes or change his mind, but the Satanic Verses shows just one prime example of the fallibility here.
It is important to know the alleged troubles with Biblical interpretation. Norman Geisler offers a wonderful book that is exhaustive in repudiating the doubter. The book "When critics ask" is a wonderful help when you are cornered about the alleged contradictions of the Bible. It beautifully submits how the different authors had varying vantage points of the historic events. Any exact analogy would show a true lack of authenticity.
I pray that these excerpts will help you to understand the actual intent of a Good Muslim. It would be better if we come across Muslims that are lack in their Koran and Hadith understanding and influence.
