View Full Version : My Weekend Discovery in Rehoboth Beach DE

Just in case anyone was planning on vacationing in this town during the summer.

My hubby was dear enough to book an anniversary retreat down there for the weekend. We had a great relaxing time, but I have to warn anyone who may be planning to take their children to this "family friendly" area.

It is VERY openly homosexual. I'm not kidding...we were really shocked at the sights we saw right out in the open public where children were observing. Some might not mind that, and would just explain to their young ones that it is wrong, but personally, I teach my child it is wrong, and would not appreciate it being put right out in the open for him to witness.

Also, there was an interesting bumper sticker there for sale. It read as follows:

CHRISTIANS....CAN'T LIVE WITH THEM, AND CAN'T FEED THEM TO THE LIONS. :tsk

Think my next weekend getaway will be somewhere else !!:nod

That's sad. I remember vacationing there as a child with my family. It was a beautiful beach. It's just a crying shame.

You're exactly correct. We felt like the "abnormal" instead of the normal.

We hadn't been there in about 10 years, so we had no idea.

It is truly sad.:tsk

It IS a gay mecca-and so is the Florida Keys. Our country is headed for judgement.

Thanks for the warning. I don't think no matter what the age, I won't send anyone there, let alone go myself.

Yea...you're right. I've heard about the FL Keys, but I didn't hear about the DE beaches.

Just wanted to warn anyone, because had we had that warning, we would have gone elsewhere.:)

Thanks for the warning.. from NJ here and i never heard of that beach before in DE but i guarantee i wont be going there :)

I Live And Work In Ocean City Maryland And And Rehoboeth Delaware Has Always Been Known For The Gay Community And How Open And Proud They Are. Bethany Beach Delaware Isn't Like That Neither Is Ocean City Maryland.
