We need to also understand the term "giant" and what it really means. It does not necessarily mean "huge". It means more along the lines of "earth born" or "fallen ones". Today we look at the word "giant" and put our modern meaning on it without knowing where the word came from. Now the bible does talk that these nephilim being very large so that is where the modern day image comes from.

The word "nephilim" as used in Gen 6:4 and Num 13:33 is simply an anglocizing of the Hebrew word nephiyl. If it were to be translated it would be simply "the fallen". The Septuagint translates the original word by "gigantes", which literally signifies "earth-born".

Genesis 6:4

[There were giants in the earth] n*piliym , from naaphal , "he fell." Those who had apostatized or fallen from the true religion. The Septuagint translate the original word by gigantes, which literally signifies earth-born, and which we, following them, term giants, without having any reference to the meaning of the word, which we generally conceive to signify persons of enormous stature. But the word when properly understood makes a very just disinction between the sons of men and the sons of God; those were the nephilim , the fallen earth-born men, with the animal and devilish mind. These were the sons of God, who were born from above, children of the kingdom, because children of God. Hence, we may suppose originated the different appellatives given to sinners and saints, the former were termed gigantes (Greek), "earth-born", and the latter, hagioi , i.e. saints, persons not of the earth, or separated from the earth.

This is my first posting. I discovered Rapture Ready site a few months ago and I faithfully would just read the many articles and message boards for the news to be informed. However, I felt compelled to mention something about the topic of the days of Noah and Lot are upon us so that is why I am writing this message below.

Genesis 6 says "the sons of God (fallen angels) saw the daughter of men and they were fair and they took them wives of all which they chose. This produced giants in the earth" (verse 4). Jude 1:6 also says "the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day." When the fallen angels did this, man's DNA was changed. These men/woman, children (off spring) were no longer made in the image of God. Verse 8 and 9 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. These are the generations of Noah; Noah was a just man and PERFECT IN HIS GENERATIONS (perfect in his generations doesn't mean Noah didn't sin but it means his geno (aks) genes (his DNA) wasn't tampered with nor his family) and Noah walked with God.

After the flood, another group of fallen angels did it again and corrupted man's DNA once more to create giants on the earth. These giants were the ones during Moses, Joshua, David time. They were continually doing battle against these giants. The scriptures says The Lord told them to kill everyone of them including woman and children because their DNA wasn't human any more.

Once more the fallen angels are at it again. We have the UFO abductions and we currently we have mad scientists who are tampering with man's DNA in their labs. That is why the "mark of the beast" is bad news. Once a person receives this mark, that person's DNA will change and will no longer be human. Since Jesus died only for the human race, it says those who accept the mark of the beast are damned to hell because they can no longer be redeemed.

I watched a program the other night that really made me think. It was called The Body found -Mermaids. Has anyone seen this? It made me think of what you just mentioned about the Fallen Angels and the DNA.

I didn't see the program. However, I didn't mention everything that is going on in these labs. I've heard they are mixing animal DNA with human DNA producing grotesque creatures - reminds me of Greek Mythology. If you think about it . . . what is a Mermaid? A face of a woman and the body of a fish. What is an Egyptian Sphinx? Face of a man and the body of a lion. I saw a program a few years ago the rise of cattle mutilations along with human abductions. Why? Maybe these UFO (demons) are working on this Mark of the Beast (DNA) and this will be part of the lie after the rapture, that they will give to man telling them they will be gods and will never die if they take this injection under the skin?

Apparently some of these species had been walking around for more than 100,000 years (I think the neanderthals were one such species) and yet they can only seem to find a handful of skeletons. Why is that? Could it be perhaps that, like other such specimens found, they're just regular Homo sapiens skeletons with arthritis or some other illness?
