sensationalism, datesetting, promised healings, and a "personal word from God" always brings in quick cash

I listened to about 3 of his programs last night. It is troubling to think that christians have expounded on this idea of the nephelim.
Where did this "giant" get transported to and who is doing the research on this?
Why have we not heard anything from the press.?
I am concerned that christians are using this as a way to obtain recognition and money .........IT SELLS.......
Somebody has been reading too many comic books. We are never told to follow after mythology.
Stephen Quayle - in this lie - says this 12 foot creature or "giant" can span 40 miles in 2 steps. He is caught up in his own lie and decieves.
You cannot have a physical form of a human and do this.
If it were the physical form of satan it would not die.
To take this even further;
If all of this giants body parts are in proportion - just who is this Giant mating with - a giant female counterpart?:rolleyes
Nephalim is taken out of context.
Giants are referring to the process of allegiance and dominance in power after generations of multiplication and footholds have gained strength.
And has anyone touched on the idea of genetic clone ......done by science?
Did you hear the one where the pilot that transported it told the story? That was pretty wild.He said the military fights these things in different parts of the world. They said where it was taken but I would have to listen to it again. He said it had six fingers and six toes on each hand. Their is an artist pic on his site with what they described and he wrote a book on it that is fiction based on so called fact. I stayed up till 2:00 listening to him. He did not say they span 40 miles in 2 steps, he said they can run 40MPH in 2 steps and are incredibly strong, like 10-15 times stronger than the strongest human.

since it is now a poll :D
i like Missler and all, but i think i'm going to have to let myself rest on this one and call it mythology. like some cryptozoology... it is interesting, but unlikely, and tends to be more of a non-constructive distraction for me than anything else.

Psa 82:6 I have said, Ye [are] gods; and all of you [are] children of the most High.
John 10:35 (King James Version)
35If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;
I contend that the "sons of God" is merely a spiritual distinction between the children of the most high and the "daughters of men".
The spiritual distinction of whom they serve. The word of God came through prophets. He called them Gods, and in Psalms above both Gods and children of the most high.
Its plausible that "came into" is nothing more than the inner dwelling of evil spirits, continual evil thoughts that drives their actions.
In contrast those who accept Jesus Christ have the spirit of Christ dwelling in their hearts. They follow after God and his spiritual leading.
We also know too that men were to take wives who were like minded. We see illustrations throughout scripture where Jewish men were to marry Jewish women. Soloman married a woman from the Philistines (I think). The end result was destructive to his life. Jacob traveled far to marry the women God had chose for his purposes.
The verses 1-4 .......in context, with verses 1-3 leading up to verse 4 being relevant to the subject........verse one;
Gen 6:1 And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,
This verse gives the impression that many generations had been "multiplied." A large population.
That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they [were] fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.
Meaning they observed their beauty and looks. Instead of waiting and taking the wife God had chose for them - they chose their own, based on their own lusts. Who would be the father of those lusts?
Gen 6:3 And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also [is] flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.
This is a distinction between the spirit and flesh. Those who worship God worship in the spirit and in truth.
Satan worships the flesh. The daughters of men could be a reference to worship of the flesh. This would only re-inforce my belief that they left themselves open to demon possession.
The similarities that I see today have been mentioned in the ideas of "strange flesh," but not only in strange flesh but in a populated society where beauty and youth is acknowledged - image and stature - and the market place favors these attributes - even to the point of worship.
Gen 6:4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare [children] to them, the same [became] mighty men which [were] of old, men of renown.
The children became mighty, from these sons of God, who in the past, were men of (good) reputation or name.

In a nutshell, to bring the story to present day,
the Christians were marrying all the pagans and diluting the bloodline to Jesus.
God saw through satan's plan and used the flood to destroy this process and preserve the bloodline through Noah

Yes, buzzardhut - satan may have been attempting to foil our Lord Jesus bloodline.
A very good point.
Like icebear, this subject takes up too much of my time.
Edit in to add..........I voted no up there on the poll-----with -nephilim being mythology ------but only mythology in the way it is interpreted. :scratch
What is the definition to the poll person?
I believe there were giants in those days........
NOT a result of the physical union of fallen angels and daughters of men.
I believe that giants -----taken in context of websters definition-----can mean giants of intellect - power - military might - etc....and yes even physical stature and build to a degree. Financial giants.
I believe the union is in the spiritual realm of like minded union - a spiritual union with the father of lies.
If that is the definition of nephilim then my vote should have been yes------I believe.
So this is based on what the poll persons definition is of nephilim.
My definition excludes mating physically between humans and angels of any sort.

I've never listened to it myself, so I do not know what the norm is for that station. However, almost all the things I have seen posted (not necessarily here) that have come from Coast To Coast fall into that category. 'By their fruits ye shall know them' seems apt.
BTW, as to the poll, Nephilim are undoubtedly real. What is under debate is more what they were.

Coast to coast is a fruity show, don't listen to it at all. Weird stuff.
