it is said that some people require lots of sun. When said person does not get enough of it during the winter seasons their mood changes. ( my body even feels the stress)
Sad is Seasonal Affective Disorder .
The Sad lamp provides the needed sun our bodies require. Just a small amount each day can make a big difference for a person who suffers from this. It's not just any lamp though.
You can do a quick google on the subject.
If you think this may be you(anyone reading) please seek advice from your dr. as well. :nod

I have this lamp. I bought it 9 years ago (it wasn't as expensive then), and it is still going strong!
