Comfort me

I just want to praise the Lord Jesus for my new found freedom from bondage. I'm no longer angry. People think I am on medicine. I tell them I'm on Jesus. Praise the Lord!

Praise God! I like your response, I'm on Jesus! Thou hast dealt well with thy servant, O Lord, according unto thy word. Psalm 119:65

LOL...I'm laughing with you, not at you. After finally breaking down and taking Prozac and Klonopin for my depression and anxiety, I accepted that God gave doctors the knowledge to know when these meds are needed. In any case, I'm high on Jesus anyway. The doc thinks they can wean me off after my hysterectomy in March, but he's not sure I should go into full blown menopause and try to get off the meds at the same time. :hehee
Seriously though, I know exactly what you all are saying. I love Chris Tomlin's song, "My Chains are Gone..." That is exactly how it feels when God answers your prayers and frees you from whatever sin, habit, or pain that has been holding you captive. Please don't shoot me down here, but I actually had a weakness for gambling for a while. It took a good friend of mine to help me realize that I wasn't putting my faith in God to supply my needs, and that what I was doing was not glorifying the Lord. For nine months now, I can say those chains are gone!!!:yeah

I'm not going to shoot you down--that's wonderful! It's wonderful that God has freed you from that addiction.
