During these final days as more and more mutilation related stories including beheadings, cutting off body parts, etc. will happen more and more frequently, can Rapture Ready consider a "Restricted Last Days" forum. I have become very careful of my selection of articles. I agree about the no posting of nudity, sexual stories, etc. But the violence in this world is on the increase and getting worse every day. Christians are going to want to discuss these last day issues.

We can discuss them without seeing pictures/videos. Though, by not watching them, it's almost as if we're burying our head in the sand, hoping it doesn't really exist and will go away. Can't wait to read the feedaback on this one.

I trust in the collective wisdom of the mods and this board. I don't want to break rules but I want to understand the thinking behind them so I won't break them.

There was a thread deleted today that dealt with an issue mentioned in the above rule. I understand this is a "family-friendly" forum. However, I feel that the deleted thread was important to our understanding of the reality of the world we live in. I'm not sure how *censoring* it helps anything. Yes, it was like looking at pure evil square in the face - but isn't that the point. It was a news story carried all over and I'm not sure that not reporting it here is the wisest thing.

I can see not posting on every domestic violence or child abuse story. That may be wearying. Still, I see this one as in a different category altogether. Please help me to understand also. Thank you.

What really irks me is WHY these reputable news agencies even HAVE to run the filth. There are school children watching--even younger. When you go to Fox or some of the others (I won't even name them BUT...) it's a wretched shame you can't view an interesting applicable- to the end-times article without being bombarded by vulgar, who-cares-about junk!:doh But then of course, satan IS the prince of the air.:ohno
