Hello
My name is Donna and I'm a Christ follower. I came to the Lord 5 years ago at age 38 and its been the best and the hardest 5 years of my life. My heart right now is broken, I just lost my mom and I miss her soooo much. We had a very aurgumentive relationship. But of all her words she said "Isnt it fun loving Jesus." Those words I will keep in my heart forever. Hope to fellowship with allot of you.
God bless

God Bless you Donna! :pray And welcome. You have come to the right place to find all round Christian fellowship. I, too, suffer grief from missing loved ones. My only child went on to Heaven in 2006 and my earthly father joined him there in 2007. If you need a friend to talk to, I'm here any time. :hug

Donna ,

:hat:welcomesign to the board!!!

I am sorry to hear about your mom. I still have my mom but lost my dad and my sister. Your relationship with your mom sounds like me and my mom in our early days. I wish your mom could have lived, longer so that you could have come to terms with that, and grown closer. I realized a couple years ago that the things in me that drove my mom crazy was that I had the same personality as her younger sister. I was the first born and my mom thought I would be a clone of her and she was disappointed. It did not help that my mom was a little jealous of her younger sister because her dad who was so strict that he was almost abusive had calmed down and became a loving parent with the baby of the family.
My middle sister and my mom are still much closer but my mom has come to terms with the fact that I will never be a copy of her.
I will pray that God comforts you. One thing you can do is pray and ask God to tell your mom how much you love her. I still do that with my dad and my sister.
