I must confess, I'm not a long time reader. I'm recently saved (six months) and a friend at church told me to read some of the testimony here. I did and I am so glad I finally understand the love of Jesus.

A year ago I would have scoffed at beliefs such as the ones I now hold. I would have laughed at this site. The laughter it turns out would have been my way of masking my pain of not knowing Jesus.

Thank you all for spreading the Peace of Jesus. And for allowing sinners like me to read your inspiring words. I'm still a bit uncomfortable with some of the things that my baptism will mean to my life so I don't know if I will comment much. We'll see.

There is a lot of great information here W. Blake! Welcome to the family of God! :hug I remember when I was a new believer, I read my whole Bible in 2 weeks, and then dove right into studying prophecy :lol2 (still studying it) :heh and that has been 8-9 years ago.
