so the greatest reason and most important is that Christ said so.
We really don't need any more reasons.
But because it is hard and we wrestle against powers and principalities, we always can use some support. So I hope that you will get some from here.
If we love God we will keep His commandments.
The two greatest commandments are to:
Love God with all your heart soul and mind.
and to love your neighbor as yourself.
Don't know about you but these are also really hard to keep.
We humans are so wretched, sinful, self centered and even our love is so shallow. So it is very hard for us to keep these commandments.
But God is faithful. God is perfect. God is love. And if we are filled with His holy spirit then He can perform His work through us. "Not I but Christ that liveth in me".
So we have no excuse not to share Christ with people. He is there with us to protect us, guide us, teach us and work through us. He will give us the grace and power we need.
So go while we and they still have time. You never know when someone could be taken away, snatched by eternity (death). We only have so little time here and people die every minute. Why wait?

I would like to encourage you by telling you what glorious things God has done. God is able to use me. What great thing it is that God could use such a broken, sinful, wretched, unqualified vessel and use it for His glory.
(side note: a shorter version of this- not including my mission updates/diaries-- is on spokanebaptist.com)
I got saved at age 13 when I realized that I am a sinner and well deserving of hell but recieved, trusted, in God's free gift of salvation through Jesus dieing on the cross for my sins and rising from the dead the 3rd day.
What great things God has done in my life and I could never do justice of giving thanks to God.
God took me, who is a shy and wimpy, frightened young lady, and sent me all the way to Kenya Africa just last year after I turned 17.
But it did not just happen over night. God took His time and tried me.
I lived with a foster family who dearly loves the Lord and they home schooled me. I learned so much. And just going to a Bible believiving church I learned more about life than ever.
I learned about missionaries like George Muller, Amy carmichael, Gladys Alward and many others who sacrificed their lives, which is nothing in comparison to God's precious gift, to the service of our dear Lord Jesus.
I love Jesus and I take the Bible seriously. When it says go into all the world and preach, I obey. So I started out sharing my testimonys in churches and with people and sharing the gospel with who ever I met, and giving out tracts along the way. God burdened my heart deeply for the people in the world who are less fortunate than most. Having grown up as an orphan- not physically but emotionally, I have a great burden for orphans also.
Also being a wretched sinner I am burdened for the lost souls who will spend eternity in hell and separated from God forever, enduring God's just wrath. I only love them because Christ loves me, He lives in me and when I allow, His love impowers me and lives through me. In and of myself doeth no good thing dwell and my love is imperfect, but God is perfect and He is able to use even me.
So anyways I continued in faithful service, putting God first and trusting His will for me and prayed if He would allow me to go on a mission trip. Well I prayed first that He would send to me a missionary who would tell me what I must do to prepare. So one night at church when we were sharing our week and praises, and older man looked over at me and asked me to come meet some missionaries from Kenya Africa.
So I did. We exchanged testimonys and I explained to them my burden for the lost and orphans and my ministries and they asked me to come stay with them in Kenya on a short term mission trip.
I saved up money from chores and baby sitting jobs and in two years by God's gracious provision and the generosity of some christians I went to Kenya Africa for a three month mission trip. I left to Kenya in April of 2007 and returned in July of 2007.
I would like to put in separately my mission updates so that you can read them and be encouraged.
What I did was rural and city out reaches, meaning that I would go from neighborhood to neighborhood and share the gospel.
Also I discipled teen girls, volunteerd in a baby/toddler orphanage and I taught a couple youth classes. I give God all glory for all the increase!!

I only wish I would have started this sooner!!
I have forgotten so many of my witnessing stories, it is sad.
Well I will start off week by week.
So I am living on my own ( living with my pastor's 90 yr old mom ) and I am responsible for everything I must do. Including transportation.
I do not drive right now, I take the bus.
There is a plus and negative to everything I suppose.
So on the bus one of the rules is that you do not pass out government or religious literature. Consequences are being kicked off the bus and restricted from bus use.
But if the Lord be with us who can be against us?
I must admit that I am terrified when I get on the bus everyday. People are so scary and mean. And I am all alone and most times in bad parts of town. But God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
Anyways with God's Holy Spirit empowering me, I not only give out literature to people on the bus but have also given it to the bus drivers.
God is so good and faithful and I have never suffered any consequences. I pray that the Lord would bring in the increase and have all glory

"May this be encouraging to you. I was full of fear for many reasons and the time seemed unconveinient, but God said "go" and I did. God is so good!! He is faithful! He can use even me."
I am taking drivers ed now and by God's help and the prayers of my church I am doing great!! I am so glad!!
Anyways I have to do 8 drives outside of class room time. One day I go to take a drive and I ask the instructor "So what will I be doing today?" He said that I would be doing 55 miles and practicing going up and down hills on some country roads. I said "Are you serious?" He was!
I was scared because I don't like speed and before that day I had never drove so fast. Neither had I gone on a road with so many hills. But God protected me and I did fine.
Well I was just driving along and the instructor started asking me some questions. First he asked "why are you not in school?" I told him that I got a GED. He then asked me about why I was in a foster home and why am I now on my own. So I replied and then felt that I should share with him my testimony.
So here I am going 55 miles per hour on contry roads that have lots of hills and turns and he is asking me personal information. I can't believe that I could multitask so well. God was with me that's my only explaination.
So the part of my testiomony that was a witness is that I told him that
"I was 13 and realized that I had done alot of bad things and deserved hell but that I asked Jesus to forgive me my sins and I trusted Him as my saviour. " I could tell after I had shared my testiomony with him and how I recieved Christ that he was touched. I continue to pray for his salvation and plan to make him a card and glue a tract to it.
"May this be encouraging to you. I was full of fear for many reasons and the time seemed unconveinient, but God said "go" and I did. God is so good!! He is faithful! He can use even me."
