Ok...first some backgroud. My 3 kids all have WebKinz, and have loved playing it on our desktop PC. However, in the last two weeks or so, it seems as though FlashPlayer 8 (and I've tried 9) don't work. I've scanned for spyware/malware/trojans with Spybot S&D and AdAware, with my A/V, tried removing it from the Registry after un-installing to make sure all 'pieces' are gone, etc. I've also cleared my cache in both Firefox and IE7. Yet, when I go to www.webkinz.com, and click on 'login', the window that opens is completely blank. And of course, the kids say they didn't download or install anything (and they can't, their accounts are locked down pretty tight. I'm running XP SP2 on a Dell Dimension 6300 (or something like that), basically a P4 2.8 with 1.5GB of RAM. I've tried the Adobe site's suggestions, still nothing. The only thing I haven't done yet is 'HijackThis' and posting it's results (which I can do as I have the app). Anyone have this problem, or seen it before? It doesn't even work under the 'Administrator' (me) login. And my kids really want to play WebKinz, along with some of the other kid's websites they go to. Any input or suggestions is appreciated.

Lastly, the one thing I haven't done is to go back to a 'restore point' before this all started happening. So that might be worth a try....

I was thinking that it might be a problem with their server so I tried it myself:

I disabled Java and that didn't change anything.
I think you might just need to upgrade Flash. What happened when you tried Flash 9?
Definantley try a system restore, if that doesn't fix it then it might just be a flash issue.
