For me, if it was just to play around, I'd have to say it's the cutting torch. I no longer have access to one, but I have fond memories.
My chainsaw would be a close 2nd, although I usually have to wait for a storm to take down a branch before I get to use it.

My 24 in. Gorilla Bar.... by far my most useful tool :)
Have you seen that new hammer? called a FUBAR???? That looks very handy!

A file (as in, something you use to file something down) - probably the most valuable tool to a wargamer (unless you're counting paintbrushes, of course, but choosing just one out of them would be a nightmare). Wire clippers come a close second.

I would have to say my Picoscope. (I'm a car nerd)
And running a close second...my chainsaws. I just put in a wood buring stove this fall and I LOVE it!!!! I just dropped my first two trees over the weekend.
It was so cool!

Oh, that's not good. Duct tape is definitely a guy thing.
The way to clean the house is to bring in the leaf blower. And if you've got things that might blow away that shouldn't, you duct tape 'em down.
