Head cold!!!

I have a horrible head cold. I couldn't get warm last night and my body hurt, so I took advil pm and crashed until 8 this morning!! Now my head is all stuffed up and I cannot breath.

So the kids are getting a day off from school because I just cannot think. They are playing Star Wars Monopoly, so I figured that is good for math..LOL Maybe I suggest Scrabble later..

I just needed to talk!! So, what do you all do when mom is sick?

Are you sure you don't have the flu? My daughter got it, and gave it to the rest of us.

But in your situation, I do the same thing. There's not much you can do when the teacher is sick, and you can't call in a sub. :lol2 We missed all of last week due to illness, so we're going to be playing catch up this week.

I have never had the flu, so I wouldn't know. :idunno Today I am still cold, but it is in the 30's outside. Now my head it all congested.... I need soup and I am out!! I need my mommy!!!

My oldest has a cold too, so when 1/2 of us are sick, we cancel school!!

It sounds more like the flu. The symptoms sound right for it, and it's really going around right now; the pharmacy was almost out of Tamiflu. I'll pray for you to get better, being sick is no fun. :hug

I agree with new world, it's sounds like the flu. You body does ache, bad.


Praying for you to get better, with school we still do some, whatever I can manage from the couch. That is the time to use educational videos, if you need new ones, send hubby to the library.

I send ds to the cabinet shop with dh. He gets a practical look at math. Dh is a great teacher. Some times I forget how blessed we are to have dh working from home.:yeah

Thanks I am feeling better. I am not too sure how dh's principal would like 3 kids tagging along while dh tried to teach Chemistry and Physics. Although his students love our kids...

They are done with the games, they went to the legos and now they are playing nintendo....
