I need a science program to finish out our year. Used KONOS 1st half. (a very labor intensive unit study, covers everything.) Using Real Science-4-Kids chemistry Pre-level now. We will be done soon. I need something to finish the year. Looked at God's Design for Science, My world Science and Made by God Series. Has any one used these? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Oh! ds is 2nd grade.

The student book is mostly coloring which I know your ds isn't a big fan of so you could probably get away without it. I could let you borrow my teachers edition to get you going. :whistle You use books and movies that you can get from the library and it also has some crafts/activities that you can do if you choose.

I mostly used Gail Gibbons books, Let's Read and Find Out, some Seymour Simons, I Can Read and The Magic Schoolbus videos. We are only doing it about two days a week.

Edit to add:
I fogot my dh's aunt, who is a schoolteacher, gave me a big box full of dinosaur stuff if you want to do a week on dino's. There are worksheets, puzzles ect. I think we are going to do it near the end of the year.

There's Considering God's Creation. Some people like it, some people don't. I think it's a pretty good program.

I would say just use books. If you want hands on then I would get a lapbook or Considering God's Creation. I have it and I use it as a supplement.

Have you checked out Noeo? We may be using that next year for my 11 y/o. Right now we are using Apologia http://www.apologia.com/store/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=1&PHPSESSID=f013f67b4dafb1a58974b6ad2b1d74c7
