I love my XD40 SC but I find myself leaving it home or in the car more often than not because it's just a tad too bulky for constant carry. It's great with jeans and a gun belt, but 80% of the time I'm wearing dress pants or khakis and it just doesn't work out.

I've poked around a bit and narrowed it down (I think) to three choices:

The Kahr MK40

The Kel-Tec P-9

or the Bersa Thunder .380

Does anybody here own one of these? Any suggestions?

hmmm..... I'll help you decide. Keep the XD 40 and buy ME that cute little Kahr MK40. :angel

Does that help? :heh

I own a kel-tec P11 and I think it is a great little gun. I carry it mostly in the summer. I have put a few hundred rounds at a time through it and not one jamb. I carry it with 147 grain remington golden saber's and under $400, BUY IT.
I also own a kel-tec 380, it is the smallest 380 out there.

Go for the Kahr - it is #1 quality. I own the PM9 that is a good 24/7 weapon. It has polymer frame, and disappears in a pants pocket. Most of the time when I carry it, I have it in a Blade Tec IWB, and it disappears.

That being said my primary carry is the Springfield XD .45ACP Compact. When you need a weapon, you will forget that is may be a bit "uncomfortable" to carry.

You may also find that the Kahr in the .40 S&W will be a handful to shoot. I owned a Tarus Millenium in .40 that hurt to shoot it was so light & small.

Call me old-fashioned, but I still like a J-frame Smith & Wesson. I prefer the Airweight Centennial(M-642), but I have had most of the variations. If price is an issue, but one the Taurus versions. I have had several of those and can't fault them.

Those are pretty good choices. There have been some complaints on the keltec, some folks either love it or hate it. I have a p32 and to me, it is the perfect pocket gun. YMMV.
