FYI Ladies: I know I always use a ton of baby wash on my little one, especially after a meal!

The problem I see with reports like this one is that we seem to be baraged by them on a nearly daily basis. About the time I conclud that I shouldn't be drinking coffee, another report comes out debunking the one before it. Then, I start drinking coffee again and another report comes out saying that even i cup of coffee a day causes cancer in mice. (Have you ever seen a mouse drink coffee? :thinking ) Now where was I? Oh yeah coffee. So I decide it might be better if I just switch to decaf. Then a study comes out saying that decaf actually contains caffeine and may be worse for me than regular coffee. :gaah

Don't mean to be rude commenting on my own post LOL! I was looking for a website I had of some natural products! I met this lady at a woman's show in my city and was wanting to buy some of her baby powder.

Her samples were really great!

God said "it is good" so I'm gonna say the eggs were good before they were bad....they probably took a turn for the worse when their mother crossed the road and never looked back.
Poor lil eggs....taste good in MAH BELLEH
As far as chemicals on the kids, well I've always been drawn to use things the Lord gave us over the pharmaceutical companies, including washes.:idunno
Bath time with baking soda instead of bubbles makes the water softer, so dirt wipes off easier. Mild soap if any for hair washing, baking soda was/is good for that too. Borax is a natural mineral that does an amazing job cleaning clothes AND bath tubs when you scrub them. SuhWheet! Smells good too. Mix it with lemon juice and you have a disinfectant in the kitchen. Though to be honest, I use bleach on my counter tops at night before bed, and bleach to clean the toilets.
Vinegar and water are great for floors, windows and table tops. :preach

I agree with you funmudder!
I'm naturally leery of soaps anyway with the food-related sensitivities I have (and you know a lot of those foods are in many soaps!), and I am sensitive to some soaps...
Babies need really so little to get them clean, and don't need baths or hair washes that often - just "spit shine" once in a while unless they get food or dirt all over them.
We have to be really careful with some chemicals... and sadly a lot of those chemicals we have to take care with are directly marketed to children and babies in things like Johnson's care products...
