If they're telling us now, it's because they already have the database. Plausible deniability.:tsk

I want off this planet, now! Lord, please come quickly.

I agree. I'm sure they have all kinds of information on each and every one of us.

I had a boss who said he sometimes went ahead and did something without prior approval. He said it is easier to apologize than to ask for permission.

They already are collecting that stuff. At Denver International they have a ID card you can sign up for so you can go through the lines faster and they do it by collecting your prints and eye scan. I see a lot of people signing up for it and you have to pay them to do it. Also they are requiring finger printing to get a real estate, teacher license etc. So basically if you ever had anyone of these done you are already in the system.

The biometric database is huge.

But, it does not include every single person so you have nothing to worry about.

It's really very simple. You are not in the file if you have never been fingerprinted.

I get 10 printed every time I turn around and I really don't have a problem with it.

I like what many states are doing now. When you are arrested for a crime, you not only get fingerprinted, but they swab your cheek for DNA. That DNA sample has helped solve MANY cold cases, i.e. rapes.
