I cannot seem to find anything that takes the stains out of our clothing. I've tried various spot removers and detergents and still those stains are there. I'm convinced they make clothes these days so that the stains can't be erased, so we'll have to buy new clothes. (I'm only being partially sarcastic.) I don't usually let the stains set. Does anyone else have this problem? Does anyone out there have a solution?

What kind of stains? What kind of fabrics?

I'm not at home so I can't remember the name right off. But, it's the only thing I've ever found that works on stains. It's a green and pink bottle - two different sides that the stuff mixes together when you pour it out onto the stain. It works great on just about any stain.

I'll try to get the name on here later if I think of it.

I have to send all my stains to my grandmother... I told her she needs to at least write a pamphlet LOL!

I'll find out some tips from her!

It's spray and wash that I was talking about. It's a bottle that is pink on one side and green on the other. When you pour it out the sides mix. When I put it on a stain, I can actually see it working.

I've tried that Oxystuff with no luck before.

I use Spot Shot that is for Carpet. You can get it about anywhere now. It's really good, it took blood out of my shirt when my child had a bloody nose.

I've had success with Shout - even w/pen ink.

The thing w/stains though is that you should work the stain out as soon as possible, and avoid heat as much as possible. The longer you wait the more it sets. Start with cold water, no soap (that can cause it to set too), then add soap when it can no longer come out, and then add the Shout.

For grease stains, Shout also works, with just plain laundry detergent (straight out of the bottle) right on the spot.

I bring a big pot of water to boiling and add a couple scoops of oxy clean, add the clothes and let simmer for a few minutes then turn the heat off and let the clothes sit in the pot overnight. Almost all stains come out this way.

Just add hydrogen peroxide to blood stains and it will come out!!
